Made in Yorkshire are delighted to preview our upcoming Evening Networking event which will take place on Thursday 24th March at Bradford Brewery.

On the eve of Good Friday, Bradford Brewery will host a brilliant opportunity for local MD's and CEO's of the best manufacturing and engineering companies in the Yorkshire region to network and enjoy some good old Bradford beer.

Alison Jackel, manager of Bradford Brewery revealed: “We’ve got a fantastic offer of £2.50 a pint for the evening. However, it is not just about the beer, I think this event is really important. I think we need to look after our independent businesses and create a good experience for people coming to Bradford.”

Made in Yorkshire is a network for manufacturing and engineering companies to come together and create a chain of success locally. This event follows the highly successful Breakfast Morning Networking event at Portakabin on 21st January, which saw over 25 representatives of local manufacturing and engineering companies visit Portakabin’s expansive Head Office in York.

Bradford Brewery’s 10BBL brewplant was manufactured by Oban Ales in Scotland using components from 19 countries and has an initial production capacity of 16,000 pints per week. Their aim is to see Bradford Brewery’s beers on every bar in Bradford.

The entrepreneur behind their development, Matthew Halliday believes passionately in the current renaissance of Bradford City Centre and wants the Bradford Brewery name to be synonymous with his beloved City. This was echoed by Jackel, who said: “It's nice to be recognised as a hub of Yorkshire especially in Bradford, for me it's about creating a nice environment for people to come with a little bit of a twist.”

To conclude, Jackel stated: “Yorkshire is full of real folk, if you like rural hills and industrial villages or towns, then Yorkshire is the place to visit.” This event will facilitate a relaxed evening of networking within the heart of Bradford’s fast-growing leisure scene.

In the last three years members have created more than 1,000 new jobs, which makes this one of the most dynamic collection of people within industry.
