With more than 40 years' experience in the coach and bus industry, David Saynor believes that ‘you get what you pay for' when it comes to heavy duty vehicle lifts.

Throughout his career, the Engineering Manager at Arriva Wakefield has used TOTALKARE products and that looks set to continue with the arrival of a new set of mobile cable free lifts at the Yorkshire depot where he is now based.

"I've always been willing to pay more for a reliable product with back up service from a company that delivers what it says it will," he explained.

"The new TOTALKARE lift is based on proven, reliable technology and as it is cable free, it reduces the risk of slips trips and falls whilst being easy to manoeuvre."

The new S6cf now in operation in Wakefield will be used alongside an older set of lifts from TOTALKARE, formerly known as SOMERSTOTALKARE, and Arriva has also signed up to a comprehensive service package with the company.

Brian Young, National Account Manager at Halesowen-based TOTALKARE, commented: "When it came to choosing a new lift, service is also an important factor for the depot. David told us he chose TOTALKARE because he can always rely on speaking to an engineer and getting one to site quickly if required.

"We are delighted to have secured another contract from one of the biggest operators in the coach and bus industry, and look forward to helping them keep their vehicles on the road for many years to come," he added.
